Police were seen arresting protesters taking part in a march against COVID-19 restrictions in Berlin on Saturday
According to a tweet from Berlin's Police department, over 50 protesters were detained and identified, with some receiving penalty notices.
Germany has eased a number of restrictions this summer, but some are still in place, such as mandatory mask-wearing on public transport and certain indoor spaces.
A total of 3,913,828 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Germany, along with 92,096 related deaths, according to the latest figures from Friday compiled by the World Health Organization (WHO).
